The full metal jacket bullet is hardly inadequate for target practice – but it does have a shortcoming. Since the base of the FMJ’s core isn’t shielded by its jacket, the blistering intensity of ignition is certain to evaporate a little lead off of it. We are not medical doctors like Dr. Phil or Dr. Dre, but you can trust us when we say that lead inhalation isn’t beneficial to your health.

If you’re going to train with your 44 Special or 44 Magnum revolver or rifle at an indoor range, then Ammo Inc.’s 44 Spl ammo is poised to treat you to a healthier training environment. This round’s total metal jacket bullet does have a conventional lead core, but its copper-alloy jacket fully surrounds the core’s base. By preventing lead aerosolization during ignition, this ammo will also conserve accuracy by virtually eliminating lead fouling, too!
