My first time on the range with my new 44 S&W mdl. 629 6". Twas quite an experience to say the least. This round has quite a bit of attitude however I was glad I was able to control it. I have a 357 magnum so that helped pave the way to the 44 mag. I also shot 44 specials that were quite nice yet saves your wrists.
