Fiocchi is such an old company that its founder Giulio Fiocchi fought under Napoleon during his Italian campaign. Fiocchi became a bank manager after his service, and came to acquire a musket and black powder company that had defaulted on a loan despite knowing nothing himself about firearms at the time. He turned the business around nonetheless, concluding in 1877 that it would only produce hunting ammunition. Now, nearly 150 years later, the company is one of the largest of its kind in Italy.



This 357 Magnum round features a 148 grain jacketed hollow point projectile. This type of bullet is able to reliably penetrate a soft target and mushroom substantially within them, creating a gaping wound channel that they’re highly unlikely to walk away from.
