Fiocchi Ammunition 55 Grain V-MAX Ammo Details

Isn’t it funny? Somewhere out there is a ground squirrel, possum, raccoon or coyote just minding its own business – totally unaware of the fact that you are about to order the 223 Rem ammo that will end its days here on earth.

Fiocchi loads this round with a 55 grain V-MAX bullet by Hornady. Its muzzle velocity is 3,240 fps – but that’s the only conventional thing about it. The V-MAX combines an outstandingly concentric Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, evenly distributed swaged lead core, streamlined profile and sharp polymer tip to deliver first-class accuracy. The flat-flying, wind-resistant and hard-hitting bullet also retains enough momentum to initiate explosive terminal expansion at any point across the 223’s effective range.

This round’s 0.255 G1 BC bullet is neatly seated in a new and reloadable brass case, with the high-quality Boxer primer that guarantees ignition precisely when you command it. This ammo is also great for target shooting when you’re only concerned about your rifle’s accuracy!
