Golden Bear ammunition is manufactured at the Barnaul Machine Plant located in Barnaul, Russia. One of the largest manufacturers of Russian ammo, this facility is best known for producing high-quality loads for the Russian military. Golden Bear ammo features unique brass plated steel casings, which provide all the characteristics of brass-cased rounds, but at a fraction of the cost. Since this highly affordable ammunition is brass-plated, it delivers smoother feeding and function than other steel cased rounds.

This is what the Izmash factory uses to test their rifles...enough said. This is the only ammo that I will chamber in my Arsenal ak.
