500rds - 223 Wolf Polyformance 55gr. Copper FMJ Ammo

Wolf Ammunition 55 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

Load up with these .223 Remington rounds from Wolf's Polyformance brand for affordable, dependable shooting that's appropriate for casual range use and serious training. Polyformance ammunition utilizes non-corrosive Berdan primers and steel casings. The steel casings are not reloadable. This allows Wolf to manufacture cartridges at an inexpensive price and then share the savings with the shooters. Polyformance casings feature a light film of polymer which shrugs off moisture in the field or in storage in order to prevent rust from forming.

Each of these rounds is topped off with a full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile that weighs in at 55 grains; this is a common weight to the .223 caliber and will produce familiar ballistics and light recoil for both expert and novice shooters. Wolf's Copper loads use a copper jacket instead of a bi-metal one. This material change reduces metal shavings which can be found in the bore or action while also cutting down on the number of sparks produced when a round strikes the metal of a steel silhouette or indoor bullet trap.
