500rds – 223 Rem Speer Gold Dot LE 62gr. SP Ammo Details

It’s hard to pick exactly which of your weapons you’re going to reach for when someone’s invading your castle. The pump action 12? The 357 Mag? The board with a nail through it? They’re all pretty good, but the AR-15 is certainly not going to let you down -- especially if its magazine is filled up with this deadly 223 Rem ammo by Speer.

This is a Gold Dot round, so its bullet is comprised of an alloyed lead core with an electrochemically fused copper jacket. That provides a couple of key advantages. First, the core and jacket are basically incapable of separating from one another, enabling the bullet to penetrate deeply even if it has first passed through one of a variety of barrier types. Second, its jacket’s virtually perfect concentricity grants the bullet an admirably straight flight path. This soft point bullet will mushroom considerably during penetration, just the way to demonstrate to an intruder that they couldn’t have picked a worse house to break into at three in the morning.

This round’s primer is extra reliable, and its casing’s nickel plating will resist tarnishing until it can cycle very smoothly through your semi-automatic rifle.
