Sellier & Bellot (S&B), a Czech company, manufactures these rounds using finely rolled brass and dependable, non-corrosive primer mixtures. This load uses a 38 grain, bare lead projectile with a small hollow cavity which is intended to initiate expansion upon impact with a target; this transfers more energy into small game for a quicker drop and reduced chance of a pass-through shot.

The hollow-point design also puts more weight into the back of the bullet which adds stability for accurate target shooting.
