25rds – 9mm Fiocchi 115gr. XTP Ammo

Fiocchi Ammunition 115 Grain XTP Ammo Details

When your self-defense cartridge is equipped with Hornady’s XTP projectile, you know you’re not messing around. This 9mm round’s 115 grain bullet features a hollow point nose cavity that is completely shielded by its drawn gilding metal jacket. This not only facilitates feeding in a semi-automatic weapon, but further helps it to properly function at the moment of impact. The XTP’s expansion is even more reliable courtesy of its precisely laid out serrations that serve as preexisting fault lines, uniformly dense swaged lead core, and jacket’s varying thicknesses.

Fiocchi has certainly got the qualifications a manufacturer ought to have to load so exceptional a self-defense projectile. This round’s Boxer primer is both sensitive and non-corrosive, and its propellant burns clean so as to not aggrieve a firearm’s delicate action and bore. This round also includes a nickel plated brass casing. Its superior lubricity promotes smooth feeding and extraction, and its ability to resist corrosion will keep you better able to defend yourself at a moment’s notice.

Functions flawlessly in XDS and FNS LS.

I will recommend for conceal carry loading an extra magazine from your normal carry. Carry it for a day, then check how the first round is seated in your magazine. For me, they tend to shift which has caused feeding issues for that round. No issues other than that. That particular issue has happened with all of the super shiny nickel plated rounds for me.
