Remington: a name that’s synonymous with American firearms and ammunition, and which begs no further introduction. This is Big Green’s Nitro Magnum 12 Gauge shotshell, which is loaded with a powerful 1.5 ounces of #2 lead shot and certain to put a sour spin on any larger upland critter’s day!This shell’s hard lead shot is suspended in a generous amount of granulated polymer buffering material. The supple granules absorb much of the shock of ignition, thus ensuring the #2 shot remains round and ballistically efficient enough to pattern in a tight, efficient cluster. This shell’s fine shot is additionally equipped with Remington’s own Power Piston wad, which also lessens recoil while simultaneously promoting optimal pattern density. It all boils down to more pellets on target!
This round’s non-corrosive primer and fast-burning powder team up to deliver a muzzle velocity of 1,260 fps. That’s not so rip-roaringly fast that recoil’s going knock your socks off, but it certainly pours enough energy into the quarry that a single clean shot will end your hunt decisively. Fluted green hulls and rugged brass-plated heads provide reliable functionality and reloadability!
