This shell’s hard lead shot is suspended in a generous amount of granulated polymer buffering material. The supple granules absorb much of the shock of ignition, thus ensuring the #2 shot remains round and ballistically efficient enough to pattern in a tight, efficient cluster. This shell’s fine shot is additionally equipped with Remington’s own Power Piston wad, which also lessens recoil while simultaneously promoting optimal pattern density.
