This is Sellier and Bellot 8 X 57 JRS 196gr. Rimmed HPC (Expanding Capped Bullet) Ammo. This ammo is manufactured in the Czech Republic and is supreme quality ammunition. Expanding capped bullet. The HPC expanding capped bullet is a bullet with an expansion hollow in its front part. The hollow is covered with a copper cap, which improves ballistic properties of the bullet. The bullet has a considerable fragmentation (expanding) effect deep in the target and is thus used for heavy vital game and beast hunting.This ammo is boxer primed, brass cased, magnetic and non-corrosive.
