The Heat Shield is far from the ELD-X’s only accuracy enhancing feature. Between its concentric Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, secant ogive geometry, and optimal boat tail angulation, this is a bullet that consistently achieves a G7 ballistic coefficient of 0.278 (G1 BX 0.552). Zero in at 500 yards and expect a trajectory that doesn’t rise higher than 20” above the bore.

The ELD-X supplies great terminal ballistics as well. If you take your quarry within ranges up to 400 yards, the ELD-X’s InterLock ring and thick copper shank ensure that the bullet retains at least half of its weight.
