This 12 Gauge shell from Federal’s Vital-Shok line of ammunition is loaded with a one ounce TruBall hollow point slug. Designed to give your smoothbore shotgun accuracy that rivals that of a rifle (to the extent such a feat is possible), the TruBall system is comprised of a high density wad, a sold polypropylene ball, and a rifled Foster slug. The wad and ball center the slug perfectly within the bore so that it can issue out of the muzzle along a very straight trajectory, and like the parts of the space shuttle the components separate cleanly after launch. Once the slug finds its target, its hollow point nose cavity causes it to widen out substantially, which along with its impressive impact energy will deliver the wide wound channel a buck needs in order to give up the ghost.With a whole case of these impressive shells, you’ll have the opportunity to see their accuracy first hand before taking to the woods in search of a buck. This impressive shell is capable of making 1.4” groups, even at 50 yards!
