Winchester Ammunition 55 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

Winchester manufactures this 5.56x45 cartridge at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, Missouri. That means it’s mil-spec inside and out, and furthermore backed by the great reputation for quality that all ammo which bears Winchester’s name is known for. All 1,000 of these rounds’ casings are intensely uniform to one another, and have the inherent durability needed to sustain multiple reloads.

This round sports a 55 grain projectile, just like most 223 Rem ammunition has. The streamlined bullet features a full metal jacket, so it’ll feed smoothly in your AR-15, penetrate most types of conventional targets, and keep your bore clean so you can fire more accurate shots in between cleanings. This enormous box of loose ammunition represents a lot of value for just how relatively little it costs, and is certain to keep you very happy during several range sessions to come!
