1000rds – 223 Rem Red Army Standard 55gr. FMJ Ammo

Red Army Standard 55 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

Century Arms made a name for their Red Army Standard label with their affordable 7.62x39 ammunition. They’ve recently continued that success with other calibers, such as the American favorite 223 Rem!

This Russian-made round from the Tula Cartridge Plant is crowned with a 55 grain full metal jacket projectile. Such a bullet doesn’t expand during penetration, which isn’t to say it’s not still an effective tool for self-defense at practical ranges. At the range you’ll appreciate how this round’s bullet feeds easily, keeps a bore clean, and flies straight downrange so you can hit bull after bull after bull.

Russian in full, this round features a steel casing. It’ll keep your shooting budget nice and low at the tradeoff of being non-reloadable, but suppose you don’t reload anyway -- no sacrifice at all! This round’s casing is coated with polymer that promotes smooth feeding and extraction without burning off in the chamber, and its non-corrosive Berdan primer will store reliably under normal conditions. This case is just the thing to keep your rifle singing!
