454 CASULL Ammo
The 454 Casull (pronounced “kah-SOOL”) is an extremely powerful revolver cartridge – way too peppy for self-defense, unless you’re specifically concerned about ursine threats. This .45 cal behemoth is commonly loaded with bullets ranging in weight from 240 to 370 grains, although 400 grain bullets aren’t unheard of. Choose a bonded jacketed hollow point (JHP), hard cast or monolithic (i.e. solid copper) bullet if you intend to smoke Smoky.
