This 12 Gauge shotshell by Federal is loaded with 1 3/8 ounces of #2 steel shot. That sized shot is right in the intermediate spot that’s good for hunting both goose and duck, and because it’s free of lead you can hunt responsibly. True to the spirit of the Speed-Shok name, this shell’s muzzle velocity is very fast at 1,550 fps. That totally compensates for the switch over to lead.

This shell’s even better for the environment thanks to its lead-free primer. It’s a Catalyst, a fast igniting primer which is more compatible with modern propellants than older ones are. This shell’s propellant also burns clean, and its strong hull is fit for duty come time for your next handloading project.
