20rds - 45-70 Buffalo Bore Magnum 500gr. Barnes FMJ FN Ammo Details

Buffalo Bore is an American manufacturer specializing in high-quality, large caliber ammunition. The company utilizes a unique quality control system, test firing ammo in real firearms rather than laboratory test barrels. This process ensures reliable performance in real world shooting situations.

This ammunition is loaded with a Barnes solid copper flat nose projectile. Weighing in at a hefty 500 grains, these bullets will not expand on impact, though they do offer deep penetration through tough hide, thick muscle, and hard bone. These rounds are often used to hunt large animals like moose and buffalo. Each package contains 20 factory fresh rounds of non-corrosive, boxer primed, brass cased .45-70 Magnum ammunition.

This is Buffalo Bore .45-70 Magnum ammunition. Buffalo Bore .45-70 ammunition is externally identical to SAAMI spec .45-70 ammo. However, Buffalo Bore loads generate more internal power and pressure. Each round generates a muzzle velocity of 1650 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 2841. It is important to note Buffalo Bore .45-70 ammo will fit into all .45-70 firearms. This does not mean it is safe to use in any .45-70 firearm. Never use this ammo in any original or reproduced "Trap Door" action. The design is too weak. This round should only be used in the following firearms: All Marlin 1895 (1895 Marlins are all model 336 actions, chambered in 45-70) iterations made since 1972, all Browning 1885 and 1886 copies, New England Arms Handi Rifle, T/C Encore, all falling block actions made of modern steel like Ruger #1 and #3, Shiloh, Christian and Persoli Sharps, all Winchester 1886 iterations made since 1915 and all Siamese Mauser bolt actions.
