9mm Glaser Blue Safety Slug 80 Grain +P Ammo
Glaser Blue Safety Slugs were initially designed for Sky Marshalls who needed a practical and safe handgun round for use aboard aircraft. Engineered for a perfect balance between fragmentation and penetration, this ammunition is also ideal for personal protection, especially in highly-populated urban settings, apartment buildings, and office complexes.
Each of these 9mm luger +P overpressure rounds is loaded with a unique 80 grain rifled slug. Using a thin-wall jacket surrounding a precision lead core, these projectiles are engineered to resist ricochet. Constructed using #12 compressed shot and utilizing a soft polymer tip, rounds that miss their intended target are more likely to break up on an interior wall, dumping energy rather than proceeding into an adjoining room, potentially injuring an innocent bystander. Also, featuring a special round nose profile, these cartridges deliver smooth feeding, function, and extraction.
This package contains 6 new production rounds of 9mm Glaser Blue ammunition. Designed to reduce felt recoil, these loads improve accuracy and allow for faster shot-to-shot recovery.
This ammunition is factory fresh and features non-corrosive boxer primers and reloadable brass casings. Each round produces a consistent muzzle velocity of 1500 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 399 foot pounds and delivers penetration of five to seven inches in the International Ballistic Wound Association (IWBA) protocol testing.
