900rds – 5.56x45 Australian Defense Industries 62gr. FMJ F1 Ammo in Ammo Can

Australian Defense Industries 62 Grain Penetrator Ammo Details

You might not have the cool accent, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still shoot like an Australian! This 5.56x45 ammunition by Australian Defense Industries makes a perfect accompaniment to any AR-15 rifle – and unlike a boomerang, any threat you neutralize with this ammo will not probably come back.

This is F1 ammunition, which is the Australian military’s equivalent to the American M855 round. As such each round’s 62 grain bullet contains a hard steel tip in its core beneath the jacket. The penetrator bullet excels at punching holes through barriers like wood, drywall and sheet metal. The lead and steel components of its core may also separate during penetration to create two separate wound channels. Just take care that a barrel twist of 1:9 or 1:8 is best at stabilizing a 62 grain bullet for accuracy’s sake, and an F1 bullet is magnetic!

Australian Defense Industries loads non-corrosive Boxer primers and military-grade brass cases. That makes this ammo at once reliable and reloadable. These 900 rounds come loose-packed in a steel ammo can. The rugged receptacle will prevent drops and dings from damaging to your ammo, and its rubber gasket is highly effective at sealing out humidity.

Runs great and looks good. I wish it still came in the blister packs like it used to years ago, but still comes in a nice NATO ammo can. Awesome .556 penetrator ammo(just no green paint)
