This Hornady 6mm ARC ammunition features Hornady’s crown jewel: the ELD-X bullet. If you know the ELD-X, you are already aware about its reputation for accuracy. The .512 G1 ballistic coefficient is stellar, thanks to Hornady's heat shield tip that helps it reduce the chance of deformation.

Coming in at 103 grain, this is a relatively light load for the 6mm ARC caliber. Hornady recommends a 1:8 twist rate to get the most accuracy out of your rifle if you're going to use this round.

Hornady's ELD bullet enjoys a stellar reputation in the hunting community. In this case, it's an ELD-X bullet. The “X” stands for “eXpanding,” which Hornady promises at virtually any velocity. At lower velocities the Heat Shield tip rams inward to trigger massive expansion accompanied by a minimum of 85 percent weight retention.
