5rds – 20 Gauge Fiocchi Golden Turkey TSS 3" 1-3/8oz. #9 Shot Ammo Details

This 20 Gauge shotshell from Fiocchi’s Golden Turkey TSS line of ammunition is loaded with nothing less than Tungsten Super Shot. TSS is made of 95 percent tungsten alloy – with some iron and nickel thrown in for good measure – which makes this shell’s shot completely compliant with the USFWS ban on lead projectiles.

But its eco-friendliness isn’t what makes TSS truly special. Lead is only about 63 percent as dense as TSS, which is why a 0.08” diameter #9 TSS pellet is able to retain roughly as much downrange momentum as a 0.13” diameter #4 lead shot pellet. Because this turkey shell’s shot pellets are so much smaller, it’s able to put about 61 percent more wound channels through a turkey’s broadside!

Dense #9 TSS is able to resist wind deflection and penetrate just as deeply as #4 shot, too. And because its predominantly tungsten composition makes TSS so hard, this round’s shot pellets are immune to pattern-weakening deformation under pressure. Fiocchi has over 100 years of experience loading ammunition, and their factory in Missouri turns out the premium components TSS needs to exhibit its best performance.
