These 12 gauge rounds from the Remington Slugger line are a classic load known for high energy and a flat trajectory that smooth-bore deer hunters will cherish! Remington, the original makers of high-velocity foster slug shells, constructs these rounds using high-strength hulls, precisely measured propellant, and 7/8 ounce rifled lead projectiles. These lighter projectiles typically fly with 13% more muzzle velocity than 1 ounce slugs and deliver up to 200 foot-pounds more energy to the target as well.Each slug has rifling which imparts spin on the projectile when fired through a smoothbore shotgun barrel in order to achieve greater distance and accuracy. When the exposed lead slug impacts a target it will experience some slight expansion with a focus on deep penetration. This delivers devastating energy past thick hide and bone and into vital zones for more positive drops and successful hunting experiences.

Great loads my 500 slug barrel loves them deadly at 100 plus never had any longer chances. They work well in thick woods.
