This shell features Tungsten Super Shot, which is made of nontoxic tungsten alloy that is 56% denser than lead!This 12 Gauge shell is able to produce a staggeringly dense pattern courtesy of its 1-3/4 ounce column of #9 TSS. Those are admittedly small pellets, but their 18 g/cc density means that each one weighs roughly the same as a 50% wider diameter #5 lead shot pellet.
TSS’s superior density enables it to retain a lot of momentum. That makes its trajectory far less vulnerable to wind drift, and it also places this round’s effective range in the vicinity of 75 yards.
