This 12 Gauge shotshell by Federal is loaded with a combination of #7 and #9 shot. That makes it mighty versatile, and of great advantage for hunters who aren’t certain just how close their skittish game will let them approach. The shell’s Heavyweight TSS shot is made of a tungsten alloy that’s 22 percent more dense than standard tungsten, and over 50 percent denser than pure lead. As the result it’s able to deliver substantially greater energy on impact over longer distances, letting you take down even the most tenacious tom fast and effectively.This shell further features the FliteControl Flex wad, which delivers a tight and consistent pattern through either a standard or ported turkey choke. The full-length wad will also protect your shotgun’s bore from becoming marred by exceptionally hard tungsten alloy shot. The shell’s buffering will further protect your bore, which is securely held in place by both a clear card wad and the shell’s tight roll crimp.
