This is 12 Gauge Brenneke Maximum Barrier Penetration 2 3/4" 1 3/8oz. Slug Ammo. This round was developed at the request of the military and law enforcement communities, the Brenneke Special Forces Maximum Barrier Penetration Magnum slug uses an exceptionally hard alloy, allowing it to penetrate windshields, wheel rims, tires, and vehicle engines. It is the ultimate cartridge for demanding urban applications. Not recommended for general hunting. This ammo has a muzzle velocity of 1650fps. and comes packed in 5rds. per box.

The extreme power and accuracy of these slugs is downright astonishing. The recoil, PUNISHING! (but worth it) My FNH SLP 18" gobbles these slugs without issue...except the bruising to my shoulder!! Slugs smashed through a 70lb steel truck tire rim like it was tissue paper. These expensive slugs are the best period. Worth every penny.

These are great. At 100yds, they don't drop at all, very accurate, and I'm shooting them with a shorter tactical type shotgun. I have a steel target set up at 100 yds and shot standing without a rest, open sight, 2 shots and they hit within 2" of each other. Will shoot all the way through a 4" diameter tree. A normal Remington slug will not and drops about 18" at 100 yds. Regular slugs don't even come close to the power and accuracy of these, of course, you get what you pay for. I bet these slugs will be great for hog hunting!
