Blazer 95 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

When the Red Army found some shortcomings with the 7.62×25mm caliber TT-33 pistol during the Second World War (it is not ideal when a pistol automatically ejects its magazine while firing), they designed a pistol with direct blowback operation and a heel release to replace it. The 9×18mm Makarov was thus developed next, a relatively powerful round with the modest bolt thrust optimal for operation in a direct blowback pistol.

If you are a Russian pistol and submachine enthusiast, you’re committed to finding the right special ammunition for your Soviet toys. This cartridge by Blazer features a non-corrosive Berdan primed aluminum casing, which means it is lighter and less expensive than brass at the cost of being non-reloadable. Its 95 grain projectile sports a full metal jacket, so it won’t foul up your bore during lengthy stays at the range.

Although made in the spirit of Russia, this cartridge is manufactured by Blazer at their factory in Idaho. They are committed to providing affordable ammunition, but with quality parts you can depend on while training.
