MaxxTech 92 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

This is not 9mm (i.e. 9mm Luger) ammunition. It will not chamber in any handgun ever made by Glock, S&W or Ruger. This is 9mm Makarov (i.e. 9x18mm) ammo, which will only feed and fire in pistols like the Makarov PM, MP-448 or P-64.

MAXXTech offers an affordable way to take your Slav hardware to the range! This cartridge’s bullet weighs 92 grains. The manufacturer hasn’t shared its muzzle velocity, although it’s reasonable to assume it’s a little higher than 1,000 fps out of a 3.8” barrel. The bullet is a simple full metal jacket: no features to enable terminal expansion, and no steel that could have made it capable of attracting a magnet.

This ammo’s new brass cases promote cleaner performance than the usual steel-cased stuff most Russian firearm enthusiasts are accustomed to. The interior of the case contains a small shelf-like protrusion, which is why we don’t advise attempting to handload it.
