Bannerman 262 Grain Lead Round Nose (LRN) Ammo Details

This ammo is not compatible with 455 Webley revolvers that have previously been converted to fire 45 Auto Rim.

Bannerman Cartridge Company specializes in loading outdated (but still exciting) cartridges – ones you might otherwise have had to handload yourself. If you’ve been searching far and wide for premium 455 Webley ammunition, then pat yourself on the back! You couldn’t have done a better job of it.

This round is loaded with a simple, classic 262 grain lead round nose projectile (made by Missouri Bullet Co.). Well, it does possess one high-tech modern feature: its low-friction Hi-Tek coating, which is clear polymer that helps to preserve the barrel and minimize lead fouling while it’s at it.

This is Mk II ammunition, although Bannerman asserts that its brand new brass cases (made by Starline, also in Missouri) are suitable for loading Mk III, IV, V and VI cartridges. (The Mk I case is a hair longer, although Mk II still substitutes nicely for it.)
