Remington Ammunition 246 Grain Lead Round Nose (LRN) Ammo Details

It doesn’t matter how old or new your revolver might be -- you still want to take very good care of it. Whether you’ve a mint Smith & Wesson Triple Lock or a brand spanking new Ruger GP100, you’re not just going to run any old ammunition through it. You want a Remington Performance WheelGun round, which is designed in every way to take care of your firearm while you take care of business.

This 44 Special cartridge features a 246 grain lead round nose projectile. Its lead composition allows it to perform like a classic load while simultaneously keeping its price tag attractive, and its profile keeps it accurate while enabling it to penetrate a variety of media. This round’s Kleanbore primer is great for older weapons, as it prevents the blights of rust and corrosion, and its propellant is measured to deliver an optimal velocity for its caliber while lessening the fouling your revolver’s bore is going to incur.

I have A S&W Model 29-2 , 4" that is 35 years old and in pristine condition. I shoot the .44 Special Wheel Gun Ammunition rather than .44 Magnum Ammo to avoid unnecessary stresses and bore erosion when target shooting , plinking etc. I keep full house Remington .44 Mag. Ammunition on hand for hunting/serious work. The ability to diversify is welcome.
