50rds – 40 S&W Magtech 165gr. FMC Flat Ammo Details
If you’ve ever shot a paper target, then you’re aware of how frustrating keeping track of your shots can be if you’ve grouped them tightly. What you need in such a scenario is a cartridge like this 40 S&W from Magtech. Its 165 grain bullet has a flat profile, so it’ll work like a hole punch does when it meets a paper target. You’ll be able to read your shot placements easily, even from a distance, and dispel any ambiguity if you’re keeping score as well.Training ammunition should behave just as flawlessly as any premium self-defense load would -- dealing with jams and duds during the little amount of time you can carve out of your schedule for the range is just a drag. When you invest in Magtech, you’ll get the quality you need to hone your skills effectively. As such this round sports a smooth cycling brass casing, non-corrosive primer which guarantees dependable ignition, and propellant that burns clean to ensure a perfect shot with every pull of the trigger.

Out of one box of 50, 8 of these failed to fire from my G23. At a 16% failure rate, not only do I feel cheated on the cost of ammo, but I feel grateful that I learned I cannot trust this ammo with my life. The ones that went bang did so fine, but on an average of 2 non-firing rounds per 13-round magazine, I will not be buying these again for any purpose.
