This cartridge’s 98 grain solid lead bullet is a hollow base wadcutter (HBWC). A wadcutter’s nose shares the same shape as the end of a tin can, which enables it to stamp through paper all nice and clean like. No other bullet can illustrate your exact shot placement more accurately!

Its hollow base does not affect the HBWC’s terminal ballistics in any significant way. It benefits performance at every other phase, though, beginning with ignition when it forces the bullet to form a tighter, more effective seal against the bore. Its hollow base also forces the HBWC to carry more of its weight around its front section, which benefits its in-flight accuracy (much like the heavy tip of a badminton shuttlecock).
