50rds - 22LR Aguila Super Colibri (Quiet) Ammo Details

22 Long Rifle Ammo - Aguila Super Colibri (Quiet) – 50 Rounds

Propelled solely by the Eley priming mixture, these .22 long rifle rounds contain no gunpowder. Allowing for quiet shooting as soft as an air rifle, this ammunition can be shot indoors with a proper backstop, without any ear protection. Don't let the silence fool you. These rounds are extremely lethal and should be handled with the same care and precautions as all standard ammunition.

These .22 Super Colibri rounds can be fired in any .22 LR rifle or pistol. However, it does no cycle the slides on most semi-automatic weapons, performing best in lever, bolt action, or revolver rimfire firearms.

You get 50 rounds of .22 long rifle Aguila Super Colibri ammunition. Each round is loaded with a 20 grain lead soft point projectile. These ultra-quiet loads produce a muzzle velocity of 590 feet per second with 16 foot pounds of energy. Perfect for target shooting or small game hunting, this low power ammo is perfect for urban, youth and varmint shooting where a low-noise load is necessary.

I have been shooting this ammo in a Model 39A Marlin Lever gun and am very pleased with the Super Colibri Ammo from Aguila. Within 50 yards it is very accurate and very effective on small varmints like chipmunks. But the best of all is the very low noise from my rifle. The sound is on par with a pellet gun, very quite. The tiny 20 grain bullet does not feed quite as well as my normal 40 grain 22's but working the lever smoothly seems to solve that small issue. They don't jam, they just are not as smooth as some other loads. I have gone through maybe 200 rounds with zero misfires and will buy more when they are available. Two thumbs up! David from Kentucky
