This round’s 25 grain NTX bullet showcases Hornady’s streamlined AMP jacket and sharp, spearlike copper-colored polymer tip. Alongside its 2,100 fps rifle muzzle velocity, the NTX is able to achieve a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.081 – as such, you should witness a trajectory that remains supersonic beyond 125 yards.

The NTX’s polymer tip slams into the bullet’s core immediately after impact. At that instant it transfers enough energy to the surrounding core and jacket to make both fly apart in little fragments. This is terminal performance which no rodent’s body is equipped to survive!
