It all boils down to physics. When a 29 grain bullet departs rifle-length barrel at subsonic 1,080 fps velocity, it can’t help but issue a soft report and generate only the teensiest-tiniest of recoil. And while the 22 Short is anything but a powerhouse, that copper-plated round nose does manage lethal results on pests and small game. No terminal expansion; suitable for furbearers!

You can fire 22 Short in 22 LR firearms. It can’t cycle semi-automatic ones, however. You’ll have to feed those manually, one at a time, but that’s well worth the cost of admission when subtle performance matters most. This ammo is great for teaching newer shooters the basics, and it works just fine with a suppressor!
