That is why they loaded it with the Tipped MatchKing, which features a thin jacket that is drawn to a concentricity standard of no more or less than 0.0003”, as well as a form-fitted lead core that makes the bullet even more gyroscopically stable. The TMK’s proprietary acetyl resin tip makes its frontal profile more streamlined than that of a conventional BTHP or OTM, and its jacket ogive is enhanced to minimize drag to the greatest degree possible.
This round’s bullet is heavier than normal. The 77 grain bullet requires a faster barrel twist in order to exhibit its best downrange stability, but it’s well worth it for such wind-resistant ballistic performance.
