500rds – 5.56x45 Black Hills 50gr. TSX Ammo

500rds – 5.56x45 Black Hills 50gr. TSX Ammo Details

Barnes’ TSX bullet will make you angry at the U.S. Mint for wasting copper on pennies. This 5.56x45 cartridge is capped with a 50 grain hollow point bullet that is made solely of copper. It can’t cause lead fouling in a bore. It can’t taint meat. It’s incapable of core/jacket separation because it doesn’t have a core and jacket, enabling it to retain the momentum it needs to score an exceptionally deep wound channel for its relatively light weight. It’s also a legal choice for hunting in California and other places where toxic projectiles are banned.

Barnes includes pressure relieving grooves in the TSX’s shank, which effectively lessen how much contact the bullet makes with the bore. This reduces fouling, and also increases muzzle velocity. Barnes has also designed the TSX to expand in an especially deadly way. As the hollow point bullet fans out, it produces razor-sharp cutting petals that slice through flesh and sinew alike. Its terminal expansion makes the TSX a great choice for putting down tough hogs, and also suits it remarkably well for personal protection.

Black Hills Ammunition of South Dakota is just the team to get the most out of so exceptional a bullet. They paired this round’s TSX with an annealed brass shell casing to guarantee proper sealing of the chamber and ongoing reloadability, as well as a non-corrosive primer and clean burning propellant. And thanks to Black Hills’ superb quality assurance protocol, you can be sure each round in this case of 500 will all perform exactly the same as one another.
