Its 158 grain conical lead nose bullet hasn’t got a jacket, which makes it much safer for shooting steel targets at close range. The bullet’s flat nose profile makes it easy as pie to observe just how closely you’re placing your shots on a paper target. And because its nose is perfectly level, the CNL projectile is also safe for a lever gun’s tubular magazine.
Black Hills loads this round’s bullet to clear a 6” barrel at a rate of 800 fps – not too much recoil because of that. This traditional 38 Spl ammo still has the noncorrosive Boxer primers and low-residue powder your prized firearm deserves, and its virgin brass cases are reloadable many times. Ten boxes per case!
