Forget about looking for four-leaf clovers. Make your own – with Black Hills Ammunition’s 300 AAC Blackout ammunition, of course! These hyper-precise range loads are all you need to start grouping shots tight tight tight!This round owes its accuracy to Black Hills’ premium brass, primer and powder charge, as well as the exacting tolerances with which the South Dakotan company loads all of their centerfire cartridges. But the bullet is always the star of the show. The open tip match features a sleek, streamlined and practically perfectly concentric jacket. Its rotational stability is further enhanced by its form-fitted lead core, which was inserted through the tip’s nose cavity while it was still molten. Despite its small nose cavity, the OTM is not an expanding bullet. Expect the same terminal ballistics as an FMJ.
This round’s lightweight 125 grain projectile is not remotely subsonic. Black Hills recorded its 2,100 fps muzzle velocity with a 16” barrel. Expect a lower muzzle velocity if you’re firing an SBR, as well as a cracking report regardless of your barrel’s length. This ammo comes packaged 25 boxes per case.
