Federal Ammunition 50 Grain Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Ammo Details

If varmints are giving you grief, grab a case of this .223 Remington ammunition from Federal's American Eagle series and put your AR-15 or other .223/5.56 NATO rifle to work clearing them out. These inexpensive hollow points deliver great fragmentation against coyotes, groundhogs, rabbits, and other small pest animals. Each round fires a light 50 grain bullet at a high velocity that helps ensure optimal terminal performance. Like other Federal products, this ammo is made in the USA and uses non-corrosive primers and re-loadable brass cases.

This is my favorite plinking/varmint round. I get sub-MOA groups with my Rock River Arms LAR with a 16" LaRue barrel. It is the only round that my friends and I use for hunting feral hogs at night, with the majority of shots less than 200 yards.
