384rds – 303 British Canadian Military Surplus 174gr. FMJ Mk VIIz Ammo *CORROSIVE*

Military Surplus 174 grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

This is corrosive ammunition. You must take special steps cleaning your rifle in order to prevent hygroscopic salts from destroying its action and barrel, although hot, soapy water is enough to reliably do the trick.
Canada entered the Second World War in September of 1939 – more than two years before us. Their government started cranking out 303 British ammo for their war effort at once. They produced so much that a fair bit of it remains to this day!

This 303 British ammo was produced during the 1940s and has been stored in favorable conditions up until now. We do not offer very old ammo for sale unless it appears to be in good, fireable condition, although it is reasonable to expect the occasional failure to fire when you’re dealing with WWII era military surplus ammo.

This ammo is loaded with brand new brass cases that have visibly annealed necks and shoulders. We have not determined whether the 174 grain FMJ Mk VIIz projectile is magnetic or not, nor have we recorded its muzzle velocity.

This order includes 384 rounds of ammunition, not 380.
