Think of Federal’s Range & Field Packs as two halves of the same yin yang. This round is the Field type. Its bullet is clothed in copper plating to keep a firearm’s bore unadulterated by lead residue, very nice if you’re planning a lengthy squirrel hunting expedition that’ll take you far from home base. The bullet’s nose cavity lends itself to wide expansion -- no squirrel is mighty enough to tank that kind of wound channel and keep on squirreling. Federal makes great rimfire primers and little brass casings, so you can trust this round to carry you through even the most dangerous squirrel hunt you’ll ever have.
