This 380 Auto cartridge by Inceptor is loaded with a 56 grain ARX bullet. The ARX is designed for self-defense, although it has got no hollow point. That’s because it doesn’t expand to create a wide wound channel. Instead it has three specially engineered grooves, which cause the soft tissue they come in contact with to shoot away laterally at a speed 1.5 to 2 times faster than that of the ARX itself.The ARX’s sleek nose profile lets it feed more fluidly in a pistol. And while the ARX’s distinctive grooves do not actually influence its accuracy, the proprietary copper and nylon blend it’s made out of does. This lightweight bullet flies out of the muzzle with a higher velocity than a lead one could have, and produces less of the recoil that throws your aim off with every shot. Because the ARX is injection molded, its profile is about as standardized as can be, and its lead-free design equates to a cleaner bore for your firearm.
