Hornady developed their Custom line to supply shooters an affordable factory-produced round with the precision performance of a hand load. All Hornady Custom ammunition is held to tight tolerances and hand-inspected before packaging. This strict attention to detail guarantees reliable function and precision performance with every shot fired.

Hornady Custom loads are manufactured with only high-quality, premium components. Powders are specially blended for optimal pressure and velocity. Custom boxer primers are carefully selected for reliable, rapid ignition. Hornady also manufactures its own quality brass cases with high standards of corrosion resistance, hardness, and wall consistency.

Each factory fresh .357 Magnum cartridge in this package is topped with a 125 grain XTP jacketed hollow point projectile. These proprietary XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) bullets
are engineered for reliable expansion at a wide range of velocities. A special swaged lead core provides uniform density and optimal ballistic balance.

XTP bullets also feature a drawn gilding metal jacket that varies in thickness down the length of the bullet. This design provides a major benefit over bullets with uniform jacket thickness and helps control expansion upon target impact. The hollow point cavity is also completely encapsulated by jacketing material. With no exposed lead, the hollow point cavity performs properly upon impact.

These unique features all combine to deliver effective and reliable accuracy, function, and threat-stopping power, making them a perfect option for self-defense and concealed carry weapons. Each round produces a consistent muzzle velocity of 1500 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 624 foot pounds. This ammunition comes packed in 25-round boxes.
