We love trap and skeet, but the unpredictability of sporting clays sets it apart in a world all its own. The only thing that you should be able to anticipate with perfect certainty during a game of sporting clays is the performance of your ammunition. And when you choose Federal’s Top Gun Sporting line of shotshells, you’ll be able to do exactly that!

This 28 Gauge shell is loaded with 3/4 ounces of #8 lead shot. The .09” diameter pellets are hard and therefore consistently accurate, and with their fast 1,330 fps muzzle velocity they’ll maintain the potential to shatter clay discs far downrange and benefit your performance by enabling you to compensate less with your aim. It’s a powerful shell, to be sure, but one which still delivers very little recoil to keep your shoulder happier at the end of a good day. This shell’s hull is perfectly reloadable, and its modern propellant won’t quickly gum up your shotgun to require a field cleaning.
