The pellets are nontoxic. They are also highly spherical, and hard enough to stay spherical while they are sped to a velocity of 1,300 fps. The shell’s high muzzle velocity delivers duck-battering energy at close and medium range, and patterns the shot efficiently enough to put an effective number of pellets on target.
Don’t expect punishing kick from this ammo, as its collapsible wads do a decent job smoothing out recoil. The full-length plastic shot cups keep the abrasive steel pellets from damaging the barrel.
This ammo’s hulls are tightly crimped and outfitted with sealed primers, so you can more confidently venture out into the wetlands. Big Green’s low-fouling powder means less time cleaning and more time for taking photos with your trophies!
