This shell is loaded with highly spherical #4 steel shot, which in conjunction with its 1,300 fps muzzle velocity and very efficient gas sealing plastic wad will give you the effective downrange pattern you need to take high flying pintails out of commission. This shell also features Federal’s state of the art Catalyst primer, a device which does a tremendous job of sparking up the near entirety of the propellant for the fast and even ignition that’s conducive to a tight pattern. The Catalyst is also lead-free, which the ducks would thank you for if you weren’t busy trying to kill them.
