Winchester's TrAAcker shotshells breathe new life into some classic skeet loads with a dash of color! The high strength hulls used to contain these rounds are colored black and signify that the AA wad inside is black as well; this dark color contrasts sharply against a clear sky for easy shot tracking as the wad flies with the shot. That makes these 12 gauge shells excellent for coached training or introducing new shooters to the clay sports. Aside from the new look, Winchester's AA wad maintains the same functionality with a obturating powder rear, collapsing center, and shot-trap core surrounded by helical petals which all contribute to less felt recoil, maximized velocity, extended effective range, and overall tighter shot pattern.These 2-3/4 inch shells are compatible with the widest range of pump, side-by-side, over-under, and semi-automatic shotguns and contain 1-1/8 ounces of #9 shot. The lead shot undergoes a hardening process before being loaded which helps the pellets maintain round shape and reduces the chances of fliers leaving the pattern cloud. The black TrAAcker hull spins as it travels and maintains position in the middle of the shot cloud for rapid recognition of a hit or miss.
