Winchester AA Light Target loads are great for high volume users or those who are new to the shooting sports. Each 2-3/4" shell in this box of 25 fires a 1-1/8 oz. load of #8.5 shot at 1,145 feet per second. This results in dense patterns, effective medium-range clay-busting, and mild recoil that any shooter can handle. As a 12 gauge load, this ammunition will typically be used in relatively heavy shotguns; this reduces felt recoil even further. Note that these shells have very low penetration due to the small size of the pellets used; this is perfect for target use but not suitable for hunting or defensive applications.
